Flooring FAQ
Most whole-home installs run two to five days depending on square footage and how much subfloor prep the slab needs. Single rooms are usually a day.
Waterproof luxury vinyl plank and porcelain tile are the two that tolerate humidity and the occasional water event best. Engineered hardwood is a good middle ground; solid hardwood over a slab is the one we most often talk people out of.
Yes, standard furniture is included. Pianos, safes, aquariums and anything requiring disassembly we will quote separately so there are no surprises on the day.
If it is solid or thick-wear-layer engineered hardwood with enough material left to sand, refinishing is usually cheaper and better than replacing. We will tell you honestly which side of that line your floor falls on.
We do, including tile demolition and carpet and pad disposal. It is listed as its own line on the estimate so you can see what it costs.
